Guys heading down to cork with work for 6 weeks from 21 July ,not sure what I'm doing yet as in towing my redbay 21 down or just to bring the yak ,was hoping to bring an inflatable but looks like this is not going to happen .i have made an enquiry to leave boat at the marina in monkstown but have had no reply as yet .could someone name a few slipways in this area or launch points for a yak .its a long tow from the north with a 21 and not the easiest thing to launch on your own ,any info will be great fully received and does not go any further regards neil

I have my boat down in Monkstown and there's not that many places left.
There is a slip right besides the Marina. Give James a call and h'ell sort you out. I'll PM you his number.

That is not a bad slip other than the right hand turn at the top.
You could get a key for the slip at Ringaskiddy.
There are plenty options should you not get a berth.

Ok...if the monks town crowd don't get back to you you could try Salve marine http://salvemarine.com/ in Crosshaven. They may have a temporary spot.
