Access toi slip in Cahore.

I was reading the Gorey guardian today and notice a article about Cahore pier being closed for the next while . In the picture i noticed bollards which seem to be across the lane which leads to the slipway. Is this the case or is photo misleading?

I am hoping its a optical illusion, does anyone know!

a mate of mine launched from there on sunday last, he didnt mention any problems when i was talking to him on the phone.

The council were doing some remedial repairs to the bridge on the pier and had put a fence up that's still there. Slipway is clear though.

Thanks Guys, was wondering if council had decided to close access. at least I know I can launch there.
