Can anyone help, I am going on a sea charter boat trip,I use (20-30 lb)and (30-40lb)boat rods when kayak fishing, would either of these do, or should I rent a rod off the boat, thank you

20/30 lb class should cover most species providing you dont bully fish too much. No point in fishing heavier , its just no fun !!!!!!

you should have no problems with your own gear, if the gear dont suit the type of fishing you are doing on the day then hire what you need from the skipper they usually have hire rods on board all the time  keep it simple enjoy the experiance and dont worry about it,it will all come together on the day

It would depend on species, depth of water, and the type of fishing that you're doing. It might be worth bringing an 8/12lb boat rod, or a heavy spinning rod as well as the 20/30lb gear that you have.

Also, rental gear on charters boats can be a bit rough and rudimentary from what I've seen.
