Don’t know about the boat you mention but I been reading and thinking about making a drogue for some time but never got round to actually getting one,

Last season I was out and getting pushed along by an NW wind which really made the fishing uncomfortable and a little scary when the waves started splashing in from the side and over the transom,

Couldn’t keep the nose into the waves and enjoy fishing at the same time so I tied a 10lt bucket to bout 30ft of rope and tied it to the nose and slowly but surely the nose turn and stayed pointing into the waves which in turn slowed my drift making it a lot easier to fish,

So ya I would say a drogue has its use’s and I intend to make a couple up of different sizes to test out in the coming months,

The bucket worked fine until the handle snapped off but it proved to me that it works and all I need is a small drogue for my boat,

I hear Hanging them from the back or side can swamp you from a following wave, keep a good sharp knife near your rope just in case,
