what rigs do you never leave the harbour without for competition boat fishing and why?

The rig depends on the venue, conditions and whether your anchored up or drifting.
Three up, three down flowing trace, gilling, spreader bars, they can all fish quite well givin the right circumstances.
Anyone can tie a good rig, the difficult bit is knowing which rig to use on any giving day!
