Hi chenz116, if you are heading out of Wicklow the main species there are tope, ray, smoothounds and of course dogfish. Unfortunately March is usually noted as being the worst time of year for boat angling and you are only likely to catch dogfish, dabs, whiting and maybe some codling. Tope, ray and smoothies start to appear from May on and good fishing can be had up till the end of October. If your heading out at this time of year similar rigs to what you use off the shore will work. Keep the hook sizes under 1/0 preferably size 2-4. Weights will have to be different as there are strong tides at Wicklow and you may need up to 1lb of lead to hold the bottom. Hope this helps.
