Howya Tedser, welcome,
The bigger the piss the better the impellor
It's meant to be changed on, give or take, 300hrs depending on age of motor etc. If it's peeing well maybe think about it next year. That said, if it has not been changed in a long while the rubber might destruct while on the water.
There's a good bit of weight in a Wilson. I'd say 4Hp will potter you home slooooowly, especially into a wind or tide, Hopefully you'll not need it anyway. Where are you based?

hi have a 17ft dory 40hp honda and yamaha 3hp malta moves it good enough if i got stuck.changed d impeller on both before d summer its not that hard to change them just mark the treads with tip-ex so you know where to thread the nut back.impeller 20 euro, when pee pipe is flowing slowly its time to change no point in chancing it if it every stopped peeing and you didnt spot it its bye bye engine.tight lines
