Can anybody please advise as to the typical size of a "good" pollock that can be caught from a boat out of cork harbour???

If you fish the harbour rock you should achieve fish about 5lbs average especially later in the season.Towing can be very productive as can drifting with ragworm.
East of Roches Point off Trabolgan they are usually small.
Outside the harbour the Daunt Rock can have fish up to the 10lb mark.
Drifting across the Smiths you should get plenty of average fish and Off Power Head the same.

Hope this helps :)
