Youghal bay boat club "open angling comp"

Hi Guys

I'm involved with the newly formed youghal bay boat club, and along with a few others we're organising our first angling competition on the 26 & 27 of june.
We're running it in 2 seperate categories boats upto 21 ft and boats over 21 ft. registration will be at 8 a.m on the quayside with all boats leaving at 10 a.m. Entry is only €20 per angler. Anyone interested in taking part please contact us on baitalltackle@gmail.com

I fished it with my son last year we have a Warrior 165 it was great hopefully the weather will be good.Thanks Keep up the good work.

thanks for your response, and to answer your questions. its an individuals competition points will be awarded for different fish and for different size, there will be a catch limit on different species. we have a designated box that will be fished on day 1 and another for day 2, lines down will be 11 am and lines up at 4 pm.
we ask that there be a min of 2 anglers per boat and that all boat owners have there own boat insurance, and may be asked for proof of same.
we will have a best sat and best sun prize but most of the prizes will be based on a combined score from both days.
we also will have secure overnight boat and trailer parking for a limited amount of boats please contact us via email if anyone is interested.

As a new subscriber and also involved with Youghal Bay Boat Club could I ask you to spread the word about the competition with your angling friends and any other contacts you may have.We are hoping that this will be the start of a major annual angling competition
