caught yesterday out of cork harbour in deep water 236+ft thinking its greater weaver but not fully sure it twas 15 inches in length caught on mackeral strip is my thinking right

never knew you could eat them john always thought them poisonous or is it only there spines? contain venom

only the spines are dangerous, the flesh is supposed to be very sweet.
the weevers also have venomus spines on ther gill plates for anyone that dont know
