Gulp on attractor spoons - anyone tried it ?

I'm still not sure about Gulp.
The reports come and seem to be a mix of good and bad, it's hard to judge.
I've got bites on gulp/squid, but really can't say if the squid did it or the gulp.
So I've still got to give it a proper test "solo" next few trips.

I suspect Gulp might do well on a baited spoon fished semi mobile, where an over-close inspection by the fishies is unlikely. Has anybody tried Gulp together with attractor spoons or beads? How was it for you? :D

Used Gulp lugworm seriously only the once, in an EFSA comp in Demark and it outfished the fresh worms both in quantity and size of cod. Also took whiting but dabs ignored it.

Was fishing it off a spreader boom, with blades and on the drift.

So a semi mobile method where they don't get all day to choose. So visually it does the business, as you'd expect. And the smell counts for something obviously.

Static bait fishing is the most difficult test (scent-wise) ..... Anybody got flounders or bass on gulp worms or crab?
Fishing static? Fished moving?
