Orkney longliner cuddy

Hey lads does any of ye know were you could get a fixed cuddy for an orkney longliner 16 and are they easy to put on

These lads do them, not sure about anyone in Ireland but it may be worth a try ringing round a few boatyards for a second hand one if you really need it.

The cuddy on a longliner can be a nuisance. It is very low and so you cannot sit under it. Your fishing area is down by a third. If the boat is going fast the bow tends to lift up and you will probably not be able to see.

I had one on my longliner but took it off. I just put it back on when I was selling it.

If you go ahead and buy one they are just fixed in place with self tappers.
