Cork Wreck Fishing?

Fri Jan 30, 2009 3:45 pm

Lads, hoping to get to Cork in late August/early September for some wreck fishing. We were looking at Courtmacsharry, Union Hall or Castletownbere.......can anyone supply a name of a charter boat that they have had good experiences with? Also maybe a suggestion for accomodation? Thanks in advance. PM if you want.

You could give John Angles a call,he also has self catering holiday cottages. He is both a very good angler and skipper. If the weather is too bad to get out to the wrecks there is good fishing within the harbour for several types of ray, gurnard and flats.Take a look through the boat reports on the link below.
