Ello chaps

I fancy trying a few different areas in me boat and was thinking of a trip to Cahore this week at some stage. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for a few fish, ideally not too far from port, say about 1-2 miles.

Also, having never fished this are before, could tell me what type of ground I will be fishing over, and what I am likely to catch.

Cheers guys, any advice is very much appreciated :)

Matt

Have a look at screeming reels' reports. He's had some good success in Cahore recently ...

If you go about 1 mile east of rooney point its mixed rough ground, there's ray huss dogs and smoothies here, and the occassional tope, go three miles east to about 60 feet water and your tope chances improve along with the rest mentioned, here its a fairly clean bottom.
