Anyone know how fast the tidal run around dlakey sound/muglins or around wicklow head is?? Just a general figure need it for a project in college.

An Admiralty chart or tidal stream atlas for the area gives tidal speed and direction for each hour of neap and spring tides.

I have an old irish coast pilot book (1994)and for wicklow head 52 58' north 6 28' west it gives up to 4 knots in both directions .
To the nw of the headland during the north going stream ,an eddy forms which causes either very little stream or possibly a weak s-going stream from of wicklow harbour to wicklow head .
The south going stream runs strongly along this stretch of coast ,up to 3 knots at springs .
