hi guys, i got a 16ft dejon, the rear of the boat has a moulded fibre glass seat either side. ok heres what happens, every week one of the seats fills with sea water, simply and easily emptied as there is a screw lid on the seat so it can be used as storage.
now since my engines are not on the boat at present it does not leak, so obviously the leak is at the rear, now although its not a major issue, i simply cannot find were its coming from as the boat seems very sound.
is there a bag or something u can buy to inflate to fill this empty seat or a simple paint solution to paint the inside of the seat.
when the seat is full of sea water, it goes no further, and has been left for weeks and boat stays dry but weighs the boat down and lists to left slightly.
im unable to take boat out of the water so im looking for a quick easy solution.
ive thought of filling it with polysterene
Any ideas

Just because this does not happen when the engines are on does not mean it is at the rear. The weight of the engines might change the centre of gravity on the boat and the water seeps to that spot. Water finds its own level after all. i would be concerned that you have water in the hull. You should really find the cause. especially if you have the boat on a mooring. You might have a hairline crack or the bung might leak. Osmosis is also a worry. It might be worth taking the boat out and do a propper inspection. Without actually seeing the boat this is all i can speculate.
When you say engines do you mean you have an auxillary on the left hand side? Could the weight of this be causing all rain water to collect at that point? Do you have a cover? Finding the source is most important. I once had a boat with similar simptoms and when i took her out she was cracked  Its best to be sure
