heading up to donegal bay in the next month can any body give a report as to how it is fishing

Haven't been up home for a while so can't speak first hand. Was talkin to a mate who runs charter boat out of Killybegs and he said that fishing had been quite good, plenty of pollock and some cod from the rougher ground.

Was there last weekend . Saturday the weathear was rough but got out for a few hours . Pollock and mackerel to feathers and jelly worms.
Sunday improved with Red Gurnard , Coalfish , Mackerel and Pollock.
Mackerel boiling the water around the boat .Great crack with a spinning rod and 8 lb line. 4 weeks ago 4 lb Cod.Will try for some Tope soon , maybe a Blue.

no, its more of a reconnaissance trip, just trying to find out what species you would encounter in the bay, wont bluff any body its for the masters in august.
