a commercial 4x4 can be picked up for easy money on donedeal
get one with alot of umph and you wont need a winch. I have a 2.8l Frontera (Isuzu Trooper engine) and i never had any problems on any slips

I know that

Don't even have my own car yet, I have my Da and brother for that!
Looked into buying one so my dad and brother could use it when we needed but I can't get insurance.

you might have to get your Da or brother to insure a 4x4 in this case

The cost of running one is a bit high for the 500yds we need to take the boat to the slip. The idea of the winch was instead of getting a 4x4 right away. A way around the problem that won't cost too much

You also need to make sure your (or your dad/brother's) licence has the trailer category on it. Look back at this previous post and you'll see what I mean.
