I know exactly how you feel, only the other day I saw a full bodied double figure painted ray on a fish counter in midleton.Which answered my where are the painted ray gone this year.Unfortunately due to all the different cultures in Ireland these days there is a demand for the less traditional species of culinary species and wherever a quick buck can be made you can be sure certain individuals will take advantage especially when no laws are been broken.
