I have just got my scales certified by Matt at Atlas Weighing in Cork waited whilst he did them and the best bit was he only charges €30 a pop.

Hi you can't go wrong with the Salter Brecknell Electro Samson Scales 25 kg / 55lb you can get them of ebay for around £50 sterling. They are extremely accurate have been using these scales for more than 10 years now.

I can confirm that they are still only charging 30 euro for calibration and certification. It's a bargain and no risk of losing your scales in the post!! As said in the previous post they are great lads and can do them the same day. :D

If you want it done while you wait give them a phone call first and they might be able to arrange it for you.

Got mine done last week. Still only €30

It may be worth ringing first and see if they can do it on the same day.
