What is Wexford famous for? Well according to a new leaflet just published by Wexford Co.Council one of those things are bass. I cant help but think that when Wexford county council requested submissions to their bio-diversity plan that the 96 submissions made by bass anglers from Ireland and the UK prompted Wexford Co.Council to the importance of the resource.
The important thing is that places like schools will now see Bass coupled to other Iconic species like the red squirrel and white fronted goose that have unique qualities in unique environments - this to me is the way we start to do something that might work

Some good news Jim after all the doom and gloom of late! Great to hear that your efforts and those of other anglers are making a difference. Educate the next generation and they may put us all to shame yet...
