hi lads just a quick one for use could ballyfermot do with a small fishing shop and if there was one would many use it

theres tallaght rod and gun and a new 1 in walkinstown as far as i know but dont think it would be the best time to open a fishing shop unless you owned some premises or something

no bolands have stopped selling fishing tackle im just looking to set up I have a premise sorted very cheap but just wanted to see what people taught as it would be the locals and other areas near me that would hopefully be my trade

Try to find out why Boland’s stop selling fishing gear it may be a good indicator.

As said above times are hard and there are harder time still to come.
Have a look at on-line tackle shops and Fleabay and see can you match their prices.

Bolands never had much in the way of stock, anybody I knew went to Pat in Lucan for their gear

Tallaght rod and gun is cat CNj too, so maybe a new shop cOuLd compete being closer to tallaght n clondalking

Shankill Ahgling Centre closed recently. id say you would want to have a good business plan together before opening it might take a few years to build your trade up and you might want to factor that in. you could be making a loss for a few years.

takes a hell of a lot now for small shops to compete with internet shopping
