Did anyone see Martin McGowan's article in Irish Angler about using jelly sweets as lures for wrasse? Anyone tried it. If it hadn't been the September issue I'd have thought it was an April Fool!

love to try it, havent read the full article yet, but would need to take a few bags, i would eat them first

My buddy came up with the idea, sure what had I to lose, gain more weight if anything. One thing is the bait will never go to wast!
I have used a lot of soft plastics for wrasse and all worked, so we had a feeling the sweets would work too, fished the sweets Texas style.
Have to say got a buzz from it, its good to experiment a bit I guess..
