collecting Dublin Bay razorfish on the big tides

I am planning to head out on tomorrows big tide to collect razor in Dublin Bay, i understand the principles of how to collect them, but unsure exactly were to go, I would appreciate any help

have never done it myself but i think my father used to go to the shelly banks at the pigeon house :!: dont know if this helps you

i once heard out by the end of the cockle lake you could get some, dont know how well it produces, i might give it a shot, there is 3 tides over the weekend that suit it

i went out to the bay and worked the waters edge over two tides and got enough to do me for the rest of the year about 100, its a bit of fun, if your thinking of doing it buy your salt in tesco's only 47cent, you can pay up to €2 in the local shop for the saxa, makes a difference when you are buying ten bottles of salt, the cockle lake produced the best

at the water's edge on spring tides, with a spear if you go the old skool route, if you go the modern way use salt :wink:

you need at least 100 posts to gain any trust in here :mrgreen:
