Farraigí na hÉireann, Shallow waters Ep

If anyone hasnt seen this yet it's well worth a look, especially the second part.
Pretty interesting bit on the seal population in the 1st part though.
Here's the description: Coastal waters, looks at the history of our inshore coastal waters. Viewed through the life experiences of retired curach fishermen Peadar Ó Conghaile from Inis Oírr and Danny Sheehy from West Kerry, we see the changing nature of man’s relationship with the sea as we encounter seals, dogfish, pollack, flounder and wrasse (with their highly complicated sex lives)....
The bit about wrasse and their "highly complicated sex lives" is an understatement. Ive always heard the phrase "think like a fish"...but I think thinking like these would be going abit too far.

No bother! Always nice to see what goes on underwater, especially since they are species targetted by or come across by most anglers.
I have no idea. All their documentaries are excellent regardless of subject. Even those inane ones on the bygone years
of watching paint dry in some remote part of the country are generally a decent watch. BBC 4 has some topnotch stuff aswell. But this series is a great production and well worth every penny that TG4 put into it. The one on this week looks pretty good aswell.
