I didn't see any mention of it here but there is a hell of a lot of activity going on in southern England.
A local spearo has just shot a bluefin in inshore uk waters... shallow... they were shoaling close to the harbour and a few of the netters caught a few also.
http://www.boat-fishing-monthly.co.uk/c ... te=__10989http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/s ... light=tunaAs you can see its still a little south from irish waters
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=portland+ ... 72&t=h&z=6Plenty of bream around there also....
So lets look to some bream spots in west cork / kerry... amberjacks are known to come in on the warm waters and tuna have been along the west coast inthe past....
Will we get a few Tuna from the shore or inshore boats this summer (or whats left?)

The bluefin should replace the Panda on the World Wildlife Fund logo. Sea Anglers should cop on, yes it would be fun to catch one, but would you shoot a Panda or a White Rhino.
Targeting Bluefin, even for catch and release, at present is a no no.
