re whales in howth

i was out checking my moorings yesterday and met with two local lobstermen.i asked about the sighting of the two orcas off the back of islands eye and they laughed. seemly the sighting was made by the local charter boat who has been full with visitors since the alleged sighting :lol: no one else with all the boats out fishing has seen them nor have they been sighted anywhere along the east coast :lol: since

a friend of mine was on a charter about 12 years ago east of the kish and they seen 4 killer whales :shock: so it is possible :wink:

Could be, they are very common down here, but not so much up there...

im not saying they dont make appearances :) but the same guy was flooded after the humpback last summer. has to be good for bussiness.bit like the virgin mary in ballinspittle. :lol:
