It's quite possible David's been busy with editing the magazine man. Or, is waiting for a relevant time to include your article.
I'm sure this happens all the time in publishing, eg. If someone sends in a Wrasse article late in the year, it would make sense to keep it til spring as that's the sort of time people get interested in Wrasse fishing again.
Maybe there's a back log of articles on foreign fishing, you don't want too many of those in a magazine in one month, after all, it is "Irish Angler"... lol...
