Shamrock Tackle is looking for your help

Guy’s, I'm not sure what forum this should go on?
I’m throwing this out there in the off-chance that it might interest someone.
Last year Shamrock Tackle was launched in the UK, over the course of the year we managed to open about a dozen accounts, it’s been slow but I’ve managed to achieve all of this remotely by sending flier’s, samples, and word of mouth, but also through great articles in the mag’s. As you all know, we do all of this on a shoestring budget, this allows us to build steadily and with more passion while avoiding the risks the Big Guns encounter.
I’m now looking to pick up the pace in the UK market. Martin has done a great job in getting a number of articles written which will be published through the year, and on the back of these I’m looking for someone (or someone’s) to help me grow the accounts. But there’s a catch:
I’m looking for someone who would ideally have sales experience; you must be passionate about sea angling (that won’t be hard). I’m looking for someone who may have been laid off, or is in between jobs, or has recently retired. I want this person to open accounts for us in the UK on commission-only (with the obvious sweetner of free stock for your own tackle box ofcourse ), we want to do this using all of the mediums available to us (phone, fliers, samples, facebook, twitter, websites, etc). Maybe you’ve thought about this approach before but have never felt that you have the skillets required to do it, well if you have the ideas, we have the techie-geeks to turn ideas into realities!
So, Yes, it’s only commission, and Yes, it’s phone sales, and Yes, it’s a lot to ask, BUT, you could make the difference that allows us to grow and make yourself a key part of the team, and whether it’s a success or not, it will be a fascinating adventure, and you will definitely gather new skills and more modern techniques using all of these new mediums. This may be the springboard you’ve been waiting for!
If any of this sparks an urge in you and you’ve got the ability to help us here at SHAMROCK, then email me at recruit@shamrocktackle.com
Thanks for at least taking the time to read this.
Tightlines
Paul.
