Does anybody know if Sean Connick has the power to sneak legislation on commercial bass fishing in before the government comes to an end in Jan/Feb?
Is there a process and timeframe that applies to legislation or can he jam it through quickly?
We need to keep real pressure up now in the next couple of months to make sure nothing untoward happens? I sent him another letter last week and also another one to Eamon Ryan.
Any updates from anyone?

No reply from him for my last email, 3 weeks before Christmas. Pretty slack of the Civil Service, really.

Hi.
Yes I do believe that Minister Connick has the power to push that legislation through.
However I truly hope beyond the strongest of hope that Minister Connick sees the true value of sea bass which is maintaining the fish as a well protected sport fish, fished for in an economically beneficial and sustainable manner via rod and line!
Keep the pressure up everyone - pleeeeeease!!!!
Keep sending letters & e-mails.
Tight lines,
John D.
