Lucky i didnt hold my breath because no reply from dublin port, tried for ages on the internet to find out but nothing.Somebody else was saying its to do with a sewerage pipe being laid from the northside to the sewerage treatment plant there and that similar has been seen donabate portrane direction...

the rig is testing the sea bed for a pipe to go 6mile out too the beau ford bank with the treated water coming from the sewage plant in poolbeg .the plant is upping their capacitive over the next few years .by bring the treated water out so far it will stop the algae bloom in Dublin bay so no more brown sh/t on the beaches of Dublin .the sooner they put the pipe in the better i say.

Dave Tilly is correct. The people of Ringsend are used to this sort of thing!
