striped bass in ireland

anyone hear anything about the striped bass caught in kerry?

there is a pic of it in one of the irish angler mags got fish of the month tip the scales at 10lb,s

April is early this year

thats what im thinking ,lots of big barren patches in atlantic ,dont think its possible
