Frank, in places the surf was about 20ft. Probably better off trying for cod, bass don't tend to like it when its this big.

20ft

I dont feel quite so bad now. Althought I guess that will have thrown up an incredible amount of weed so maybe I won't be fishing on Monday.

Hi,
Was that surf rolling into the harbour?
remember once in a small boats comp, seeing a white roller going all the way across to cobh, was an awesome site.

Unfortunately I was a long way from the sea.
Although I heard that there was excellent fishing on the coast - if I go there again I might bring a rod and stay on an extra few days.

You should have hung around there another couple of hours - that tide was just a long way out. Must've been a spring......
Heard about that coast alright. Fantastic potential.

Here lads just a quick favour to ask - any chance if any of ye are out over the next few days with the bad weather that ye could get a few pictures of the swell and what not (if ye wouldn't mind). Cheers
