Stolen Engines

Hi Lads,

Looks like 4 engines were stolen from boats in the club pen in Bray last night. :(
Probably well planned but just in case anyone comes across a Suzuki DF70 going cheap.
These scumbags just have to be stopped.

thats outrageous

you would of taught they learnt a lesson from the last ones robbed CCTV and alarms come to mind.

they are not the only things getting robbed there was about 8 or 10 manual bilge pumps taken off up turned boats in bulloch harbour about 3 weeks ago just about enough room to fit under the boats  scumbags.

looks like they have ventured up to your area now  , last August these thieves specifically targeted boats with modern four-stroke outboard engines, making off with a haul estimated to be in excess of a total of €20,000.  They used bolt cutters to break the locks on the engines. Virtually all areas of the Lough Derg shoreline have been hit, with the total haul now believed to be in excess of the €100,000 mark.
