ON LINE! off line :(

a few years ago, or back in the the day, if i was ON LINE!
i was fishing!, catching, eating and or releasing, plenty of fish.
Now it's virtual or fantasy fishing!
it sucks, i would gladly change my fishing methods if it meant all fishing
changed for the better but ha! some hope. mindya the bass thingy is a great start,
sea trout tags minus "poachers"/non taggers,,, cod please, full return of whiting ( :L ) won't be long til we wish we caught them.
it might be our kids saying remember all the whiting we used to catch!
I can't remember my last plaice! seriously i can't and i fish a lot!
I hope the sea never ends up like the avoca river where the only living thing in it is a virus/disease that you wouldn't wish on the authorities running the system!!!
what to do????
GRRRR!!! moment but rightly so, no wonder my mate fly-fishes a man-made lake for trout ,
you can't man-make the sea and all in it!!!!!!

know what you mean mate,the salmon runs on the moy that i remember is a thing of the past,trout fishing on my local river that i fished as a kid,always bringing home a fish or two, non existant any more,between pollution,overfishing,bad management,our game fishing rep is dissapearing,Our sea fishing is going the same way,and when you witness small trawlers with boxes of doggies,for the pots,you feel like giving up fishing alltogther!!!
