The Extension bmp is not allowed

Sent photos from phone...saved to desktop...now trying to attach to report but get the above message!! any tips?

Bmps can be quite large as there is no compression. Open in Paint or similar, then save as a jpg. You may want to resize (max width of 800 pixels or so)
