I'd just like to bring this to everyone's attention, I think it is encouraging.
On page 52 of March 2008 edition of Irish Angler there is a nice little article on outlining how an angler reporting a suspicion of drift nets enabled the Fisheries Boards to promptly act and immediately save the lives of a couple of bass, and who knows how many future bass!
So keep it up reporting suspicious activity!

I agree with John D, this should be treated as a duty and responsibility of every angler to do so. At the same time, do it cleverly, to not put yourself in to trouble, as messing with poachers might be dangerous.
