Still managed to buy a balaclava for €8, and tops for bank sticks at €2, and pick of 7 spoons for €10, and powerpro 50lb X 300 yds for €29, and pick of 5 lures for €10 (got the spoons from eurotackle).

A fool and his money easy parted as my dad used to say. :lol:

It was very poor this year was looking for a 525 supermag extra and the crowd to the left of the door had a 525 mag original for 185 :roll: eventully got the supermag extra off the lads from sharkies for 185.

I was very disappointed in it. Very hard to find decent brands and when you did they were same price as anywhere else.

Did get some rapala lures for €5 each which was good, no choice of colour only chartruse.
Got a Shakepeare Ugly Sapphire boat rod for €50.

Overall not worth the trip.

Must admit I was a little disappointed with the show as well myself, like you say Jimbo you really had to search for the decent stuff.

I was happy enough. Got a Penn 545 & 525 for a nice price :D

yea think it was pooor dis yr and 2 many ppl tryin 2 sell you charters, even had a stall selling tools!!!
met da lads from the casting area who were very helpful. fair play 2 dem bravin the cold :D :D

I didn't bother this year because I felt last year was very poor and I'm seeing that all my complaints from last year are still prevalent.
Needs a bit of a shake up I reckon. Something half the size but more focussed and quality driven wouldn't be a bad option.
