There are some size limits, and there has been a lot of discussion on the site so a search option might help...... might. There has also been a lot of confusion as well.... so you might pull up mixed information. As far as I know, with the exception of Bass, there isn't a size limit for each species of fish "from the shore"..... There are various size limits for each species of you are commercial fishing, but not if you are pleasure angling.... I Think

There are a couple of lads on the site that work for the fisheries, so maybe a bit more info might be forthcomming.

Welcome to the site by the way.

Go to the bottom of this page and you'll see a link for the friendly guide to technical conservation measures - sizes are in there as far as I remember otherwise they are on EU regs site.

Fantastic Pete just what I was looking for and if its good enough for the commercial fisherman It will do me.
Had a good look at the different sizes on the bim pdf file and thought you'd throw most of that back anyway not worth keeping?

Thanks for the welcome lads,
