That is one of the sickest things ive ever seen, least with cattle and other
animals its done in a humane way. thats just sick and cruel. dolphins are one of the smartest animals around and should not be killed in any way never mind in that mannor

Barbaric!!!! disgusting to watch man acting like that to any animal on earth least of all Dolphins who only ever do good IMO.

The Japanese are a law unto themselves though, how do you stop them, perhaps an embargo on their goods of trade....I dunno!

Lads, on 3 or 4 occasions I have had to remove posts from this thread that are, whether intended that way or not, could be deemed somewhat racist. Comment on the clip by all means but lets leave the generalisations, sweeping statements and condemnation of nations to one side. Your points are made well enough without that.

Where do you start.
I just watched the full video and have to say that I found it hard to watch. The slaughter houses featured in this were extreme to say the least. It also has to be said that this is not common practice across the board. I worked in slaughter houses years ago and all the killing of animals that I witnessed was quick and designed to cause as little stress as possible to the animal because if it is not done this way it seriously effects the quality of the meat.
That said working in this environment gets you thinking twice about buying pre pack food and I tend to stay away from it since.
Quite a lot of the people working in a local slaughter house (that will remain nameless) are vegetarians, but were not so when they started there. :?:

The message in this video was that all pain and suffering caused to any species is wrong and if you fully agree with this do we all throw away our rods tomorrow as sticking a hook into a fishes head is in no way less (evil) than doing it to any other animal.

I am not trying to influence anybody one way or the other but would like to know how you see it.
Please watch the FULL vid first.
