I am 100% sure it is the same board - just the light is different.
As dbrock says the cut marks are identical.
As well note the top right corner, a little triangular section of the board is lifting up - it is identical on the other picture of the board.

pee-taking aside, I'll just mention that mods are happy enough with the size of the fish in the photo, hence pic hasn't been removed from SAI.

OK, resume pee-taking.

:D

Same boards, different lighting. The cut marks match up perfectly.

Nice recipe. Have ya ever cut down the back bone and made a Bass pouch? Fill it with fennel, onion, little sambuka and cream. Wrap in parchment paper and cook in oven for 15-20 minutes. Tasty!

Thanks for that picture of the knife, but at 12 inches i still think it's just a little too long for me, if it had been 10 inches long i would have ordered one from T.W.Murray&co in patrick st i know he does them
Thanks for going to the trouble all the same

Again, ur chip on your shoulder is just not big enough to understand, how simple things do work

Coal is used only to heat the oven, in the barrel i use alder to get flavor and smoke !

honest in say I have never ate a bass, but the thing is that at one of my previos sessions I was attaked by doggies and couple of them were so badly hooked that they would barely survive. I never would realy keep any dogs, but for this time I kept couple of them in order to try them for eating, as I never did.
I just skined them, actually it was worst thing I ever did. I brought them home and just browse internet for recips and stuff like that.
I found plenty from USA, UK, France ect., so one fish I cooked by France as baked with onions and fresh tomatos and another one with one from US as (dogfish nuggets) :D
So, I can tell you that I wasn't dusappointed as I thought, expecialy with baked one, but anyway decent pollack or large flounder is the best for me.
Also I'v tried a wing of ray couple of years ago and I personally think that they only good for the pictures not for table, unless I cooked in wrong way.
as much I can browse from internet that people in UK, US love rays, skates, dogs, even selling in chippers, but here in Ireland I don't think that someone does eat dogs atall
