Why oh why ????

how long are people fishing off DE wall ? how long are trawlers fishing the rivers,,do codling spawn in the rivers ? do anglers fish to pay loans off ? do trawler fish for fun ? i see them on the tv it dont look like fun to me ? more in our line to overthrow the government ? but no we get the dole,,so don't rock the boat ,,,as the man said without being militant,,, the best one yet,,,

I'm not sure of his point but some of it does echo some of the past comments made by members of our local TC here about some anglers down on de wall and the benefits or the lack of, to the towns of Passage West & Monkstown over that made by the local commercials input to the local economy and the problems caused or left behind, litter including sea weed, rags left tied to the railings, rods & tripods etc obstructing the footpath, cars parked entirely up on the footpath.


It's worth remembering that the local TC have members that are part of families with a long tradition in commercial fishing on the river not so much out the harbour but from Blackrock to Rafeen so may be a little biased in any future TC proposals.

Btw Fisherboy you're not one of our local TCs by any chance?
