As others have stated he is young and will with time develop more mature opinions and views.
What disgusts me is the glee that the Children displayed at the kill. I have no problem with killing for food or with C&R BTW, each to their own.

personaly i couldnt care less about what you think of me, but how dare you patronise me and lower my opinions? do you think im a 5 year old? im 20 years old and im more than capable of forming a 'mature' and 'developed' view for myself, as you put it. what makes you so high and mighty as to degrade what i have said. devil's advocate can be defined as; 'One who argues against a cause or position, not as a committed opponent but simply for the sake of argument or to determine the validity of the cause or position'. i have made my feellings perfectly clear here or your too idiotic to see it.
'disgusts' is a subjective word like love, hate, beautifull, it is the individual who defines it, it is a matter of opinion and its not factual, ie different people have different opinions. these children have been brought up to understand that meat comes from a living animal. why should they be ostrasised from your convencial thinking and made to feel bad for doing so. as a child i would come home from a days fishing on dun laoghaire pier with my grandfather after catching dozen or so mackerel. the mackerel were dispatched, bagged and brought home to show my parents. i woud carry a massive grin on my face and not once did i feel pity for them, it gave me a strange feeling of satisfaction. i had won, i had outsmarted them. does this make me distgusting? was it ok because it was a mackerel and not a tope? a fish is fish at the end of the day.
