Jesus lads, thanks very much for all your support, i really do appreciate it.
As i said in my facebook post that nige posted, i have lost my lower legs to an out of control driver.
Its not as bad as it sounds, in fact its quite easy to deal with because i don't have a choice! I have to deal with it, might as well be up beat about it!

You dont know me, I dont know you, BUT, we fish, we understand each other already, we love to be one with nature, we have a shared knowledge of the finer things in life, like threading a big fat juicy lug over a hook and "knowing" its gonna be the one that will get the bites.
As John1 said earlier in this thread regarding his proximity to the NRH, I work 5 min away from there and would be happy to call in with anything you may need.
Get well soon, and by the way, I can sort your car with hand controls F.O.C so you can still drive.
