its some fish allright, i wonder if the report he was using 30lb line is correct, id have
thought you would never get an animal that size up with that little pressure

Don't know if his report is correct, but I hooked and fought with one estimated in the region of 100lbs based on the length of fish (it was too big to bring into the boat to weigh) for just under 2 hours in 380feet of water, on a supermix lure rod, a 4000 Twinpower and 20lb power shot braid & 16 inches of 25lb flouro.

It was extremely hard work, mentally and physically, but was some sight to see it at the side of the boat.
I will at some point in the future get the report and video up of it !!
