Well done and thanks to everyone who has taken part in the consultation process so far.
At risk of sounding like a drag I can't express highly enough just how important this process is for 'all' anglers. I have a feeling that many anglers don't realise this.
We actually have a chance of making a real difference to the way a species of marine fish is managed in this country!!!!
If you haven't already filled in the document (it takes a minute or less!) and sent it off to the specified e-mail address - please, please do. If you already have but feel you know a few others who would like to lend their support - then don't be shy about advertising this process to other anglers.
Yours faithfully,
John D.

Er, what are you lads "done"ing? The consultaion is long over, so no point doing that.
However, submissions re permitting trawlers to land bass bycatch (thus creating the loophole that could disguise illegal fish as legal) and the notion that commercial fishing will be permitted once stock levels are up again (moving from the premise that Bass should be reserved as a recreational stock) should be made.
Sharpen your pencils!
