Boat Master Angler league table, best 4 results from 6 to count. Top 3 will fish the 2008 Master Angler.

For the purpose of calculating MA points and placings the percentage system is being applied. I.E. If you win the boat you get 100%, your points, provided you didnt win the boat is your score as a percentage of your boat winning total.

Updated lads with the results of the recent boat competition in Cork Harbour. Results being as they were on the day actually means that the top 3 slots and the 3 places for the masters next year have been decided.

1st Pete Davis.
2nd Donal Domeney.
3rd John Waldron.

Well done to all who participated, it was a much harder fought series this year that, given one fish more for Donal yesterday, would have meant it coming down to a winner takes all in Brandon next month. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope the level of interest in boat angling within our club enjoys the same growth in popularity next year as it did this.

Shore MA table above updated after Brandon. Total reflects anglers' best 6 competitions so far.
"Pier fishing was, indeed, an eccentric, unproductive and extremely dull occupation, and even if we'd posessed the necessary heavy plant we decided not to attempt it." Chris Yates, Out of the Blue.

Cheers Tom!

Series had its ups and downs over the year but I think gave us all a lot of invaluable experience around the country. Loads of good knees ups over the year too.

Sorry I couldnt hang around longer last night lads, made it back to Rosses point at 4.45am.
I require a tremendous amount of calcium
