Absolutely
I was thinking of adding 1 more and making it best 4 of 6?? The first scheduled boat trip is until May as it stands.

maybe we should organise a widows' weekend while we go out in the boats. On second thoughts, maybe not. We can't let them get organised. (This is a joke Aoife!!)

I have booked John Deveraux' Celtic Lady for Sunday February 11, the day after the Kilmuckridge Shore Comp, and it will be part of MA series.

This means we have 6 boat comps this year, with the best 4 to count.

1/ The booking which is down as 25th or 26th August has been finalised as 25th august.

2/ with regard to the Tuna trip, Michael McVeigh says:-

"You can really have as many as you like - the day is normally divided between the persons there ie. if there are 4 persons then each takes
1/4 of the day "in the chair" - he does not sit in the chair, but if we get a strike during his period, he gets into the chair.
Most Tuna groups would be about 4 peresons, but I have had as litle as 1 and as much as 10"

so is this still a competition, or will it be really luck if someone gets one?

That trip is not a Comp John, it should say on the schedule which boat trips are applicable for MA comps and which arent. The same will apply for the Tope and the Shark trips too. Those trips should be a great new experience for a lot of us and provide some encouragement to anyone looking for something new to try.
