Sounds like its time to get out my crushed glass coated braid :?

Go old school and fish wire. Or better again, get yourself a nice spool of Dacron, it will kite away in the tide and take out everyone else....

on a rolling boat

Combat fishing, he with the sharpest scissors lives longest...... :D

strategy

Wed Mar 05, 2008 11:40 am

i suppose the best strategy for this would be to fill the reel with loads of old or cheap
braid and cut it as soon as the tangle happens and get you hooks back down first!

Wed Mar 05, 2008 12:51 pm

It wont be as bad as that, be different if it was a boat full of beginners.

at least if we get tangled with white feathers we'll know who it is

Hi Mick, presuming a 9am leaving time, check in will be from 8-8.30. Will confirm that later but I'd take that as a guideline anyhow. Itching to get out myself, I'm having to go salmon fishing this weekend for a break from the coalies.... :D

Hi,
Is there a link to the rules etc for boat comps, tried finding it with no luck, just regarding hook numbers , bring your own bait etc?
thanks

IFSA rules or if your on the same boat as me just copy what I do. Your good at that :D
No small boats rules here this is the real thing :? and another thing bring your own bait this time.

Fri Mar 28, 2008 1:38 am

I'm still a bit fecked (jet lagged- I think I missed a night's sleep somewhere!!) but it goes by IFSA rules

3 hooks, 1 rod in use, etc
