the boy DD was about 400mts west of his hot spot.
getting stuffed by scratchers is'nt an issue. 10 bass in 2 days is what fishing is all about. Comps are about learning new tactics at new venue.
Notes taken and loged.

Yep. That's what I kept repeating in the car on the way home.

Have to say I really enjoyed it too, first bit of fishing in a long while. Great to see everyone, it's like everyone fished together every week good crack all round. Weldone to the winners good going for the day that was in it!

Steve, congrats again, Ill do the report tonight and upload it tomorrow all being well. For the record I had 15/16 undersize turbot, 1 counting flounder of 27cm and 1 counting plaice of 22. Enough for 3rd on the day and a much needed 29 MA points.... :D Fair play to all who attended and fair play to all who caught fish in what were fairly difficult conditions.

Had a good craic. It was great to put some faces with the names. Very well done to Steve, Gav and Pete and thanks to Donal and Alby for their help and encouragement. Can't wait to fish with ye all again as the banter and camaraderie was superb.

I got two undersized turbot (I was next to Pete, so he gave me a tip on catching them - amazed there was any left for me :P ), but I was delighted as they were my first turbot and it was great not to blank. Congrats to Steve on his win and to Gavin and Pete.
